Following his signing to Sony BMG (see news below) and playing a storming headline set at Hammersmith Irish Centre's "Dylan Festival" weekend, JINDER is proud to announce three exclusive shows, at which he will be appearing solo and acoustic, performing an evening of the songs of Bob Dylan. JINDER will be dipping deep into Dylan's sceptered oevre and performing a mix of favourites and obscure gems from the big man's catalogue. The rest of the year will be taken up with MERCURY MEN work, so these are very likely to be the last solo dates of 2008-don't miss out!!!

JINDER is proud to announce that he and his critically acclaimed new band, MERCURY MEN, have just signed a four-album deal with international giants Sony BMG. The band, which features a three-vocal, three-acoustic-guitar lineup starring JINDER alongside SIMON JOHNSON and GAVIN WYATT, are currently sequestered in Room With A View studios, in Ringwood, Dorset, recording their debut album, produced by I'm Alive producer and long-time friend of JINDER, Stephen Darrell Smith.

MERCURY MEN are also playing several live dates during the recording of the album, followed by an Arena Tour with Deacon Blue in July and an extensive tour (dates TBA) throughout the rest of the year.

JINDER has been confirmed as appearing at Old Ollerton St. George's Day Festival on Sunday 22nd April, Blandford Forum Georgian Fayre Festival on Friday 4th May at 9pm and Monday 7th May at 4pm, Mayfest in Stevenage, Hertfordshire on Sunday 27th May, Nottingham City Pulse Festival on Monday 28th May, and what is set to be a highlight of the year-the Townes-Stock Festival in Bursledon, Hampshire-JINDER will be appearing on the first night, Saturday 25th August, with acclaimed US singer/songwriter Devon Sproule, and on the evening on Sunday 26th August JINDER will be sharing a stage with legendary fellow travelling singer/songwriters Michael Weston King and Jason McNiff in what is set to be a memorable 3-way live "guitar pull", playing the songs of Townes Van Zandt.

I'm Alive, the new JINDER album, is gathering momentum at radio and has been playlisted by BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Gloucester, BBC Radio Leeds, Bluesradio, Spirit FM, and many more stations-look out for tracks from the album on your local and regional radio stations soon. Also, stations all over the world including Australia, The Netherlands, Bosnia and Croatia have been playing tracks from "I'm Alive" and enthusiastically plugging JINDER, giving rise to talk of a European tour in late '07/'08.
